Day 2 - Taipei Station Foodcourt 台北車站 2/F

We have been to Taipei Station (Buy 6) numerous times but we never went to their second floor. Turns out there are a lot of restaurants there along with 2 food courts.

Just take one of the several escalator up from the main hall.

There is a food court that specialize in Taiwanese food. The other food court is for gourmet from rest of world. The food at food court is much cheaper than the other stand alone restaurants on the same floor.

We were here a couple of time and tried out a few of the stalls. All good. It's slightly more expensive than eating outside on the street, but there is air conditioning and a somewhat comfy chair to sit in. Great for when we needed to wait for a train to somewhere else.

Ordered a sesame oil beef noodle at 台南擔仔麵 and oyster fried egg. Both good.

Ordered a set that comes with wonton and dry noodle at 花蓮扁食. A set is. just NT$140. Add 10 dumplings and just. NT$100.

There are plenty of other restaurants on the 2nd floor of Taipei Station.

2nd cup of coffee was 50% off. A good reason to get one and get brains awake.

Saw a vending machine selling curry rice. Can't imagine what curry rice from a vending would look and taste like.

On the main floor of Taipei Station, there are plenty of baked goods, souvenir shops at which we were too full to buy and eat.

But we always have a 2nd stomach for desserts. Came across a cinnamon roll shop and got distracted by their baked goods. Got their blueberries cinnamon roll.

There are some ledges to sit on outside the station for us to enjoy our cinnamon roll.

The appearance look ok.

Was disappointed after the first bite. There are walnuts in it which I hate and it's stiff and not much of cinnamon taste. Should have just save the $$ and room in my stomach.
