Day 5 - Taipei - Sugar Pea Cafe
Wanted a little change from Taiwanese breakfast. Google and found Sugar Pea Cafe (Eat 51) with a rating over 4 stars. It isn't very eye catching on the outside. Hidden in one of the many residential alley, I wouldn't know there is a cafe here if it wasn't for google map.
The inside is pretty nice though. But to sit in the sun house, you need to book a table in advance. The inside area is nice too, just less sunny.
This is just part of the menu which can be found online.
We got a lavender soda and a rooibos milk tea. Quite fragrant.
We also ordered pancake taco and a chipotle chicken bowl.
The pancake is fluffy, sweet and savory at the same time. Really good and filling.
The chicken is not dry at all. Very tender and juicy. The combination of flavors and ingredient matches very well. A warm salad bowl. Really good and filling.
